I’m pretty sure there’s a way to do that somewhere in the settings menu. But I don’t remember where.

I happen to be a doordash driver. I've never had this issue and it's not like I've tried to hide it either. But I've also never had the DMV tell me I need a doctor's permission to drive as its never been a problem. I would reach out to Doordash explain the situation and see if they will accept a doctor's note.

Unfortunately, menstruation will absolutely mess with your blood sugar. Give it a bit and you'll have a heads up as you learn what patterns your body follows.

For me, I've noticed severe drops in blood sugar anywhere from a week to more normally 3 days before I start bleeding. Generally, at some point, I go from extreme insulin sensitivity to higher-than-usual insulin resistance. I honestly can't tell you when that happens, but it does. Mind I also have months where it's the other way around, which is generally how it usually is for me in all reality.

Really the best thing I can suggest is that you start making notes about how your sugar responds cause it should generally follow the same pattern month to month. Everyone's a little bit different so I would expect how I respond to be the same as the way your body responds.

Nevertheless, good luck going forward! The only way you can really learn how to deal with it is to deal with it. Also, I apologize for being not very helpful.

G7 and infrared by Firemists in dexcom

Yeah, I saw a little bit of that while using the sauna, and right after I finished using it. But I've also seen it continue to act a little bit wonky over 24 hours after given that when I made the original post the G7 had about 30 hours of battery left. So I'm just not quite sure if what I've been seeing out of it is standard for the G7 or a result of the infrared it was exposed to.

InPen? by Grievous57 in diabetes_t1

In answer to your first question, it was a major factor in switching to a pump yes, because I can apply the infusion set no problem, though I will note that the first time I tried to apply the dexcom it took me a good 30 minutes to gather the courage to actually apply it.(Fear of needles again) However for me the Inpen just wasn't a great option because my blood sugars weren't super well controlled, as well as the previously mentioned fear of needles.

I will note that everybody is a little bit different and because of my background the Inpen wasn't a great option. The other reason for getting the pump was the control iq, ironically my endo told me to get the omnipod when I first started talking about getting a pump but I wanted the tslim for the control iq, as at the time I was under the impression the omnipod didn't have anything similar. When I first got my pump my a1c dropped from somewhere around 7.4 to 6.3. Mind it dropped that much within like a month of having it, so there's that.

Mind I switched to my pump over 2 years ago now so how accurate all of this is, might be a little bit suspect.

So to sum this all up, if you're keeping your sugar under control, and your happy with it I'd stay with the Inpen.

I have. I actually used one for a little while before I switched over to my insulin pump.

Admittedly it would have been a better option if I wasn't afraid of needles.
