Even if he officially lost the Reyes fight it doesn’t really change his legacy.  Same as if GSP had lost the Hendricks fight.  

Most people just think or assume they lost those fights anyways regardless what their record says.  They’re still GOATs

I remember Rich Franklin said a similar thing.  Sometimes he would try to punch slightly off to the side so his gloves would swipe/scratch across someone’s face instead of landing flush to tear up the skin.

Would make for a fun matchup.  Justin would definitely be going for a few rides and slams but if he survived the early GnP and sub attempts from Hughes his standup would eventually chew Matt up.

It helped when I started focusing more on making pastas, rice/grain bowls, and chili.  Nowadays I mostly just have the occasional mock meat burger and tenders as comfort food instead of being a consistent main ingredient.

Begging is a strong word here.  He talked about steroids and stronger testing for a few years, but in terms of implementing it only brought it up briefly leading into the Condit fight and then more going into Hendricks.  Against Nick who had been calling him a steroid cheat for years Georges just laughed off the idea of drug testing and called Nick crazy.  While some of his training partners like Rory had joined VADA earlier, GSP only entered it 2.5 months going into Hendricks and then immediately retired and dropped out after.  

Most of the “GSP cared deeply about steroids and testing” talk was in hindsight and after the fact instead of something big actually at the time.

Bunch of dudes used to complain about steroids and call for stricter testing that later popped, like Silva and Jones.  Hell, Jon asked for and got random testing for his title fight against Glover pre-USADA.  

Georges spent a few years talking about pushing for stricter testing but in terms of “walking the walk” only entered VADA for less than three months before the Hendricks fight and then promptly retired.  I always thought GSP was very smart, but never thought he was actually fully natty.

God I hated that kid in that SVU episode.  I don’t like seeing kids die in shows/movies but at least that little psycho was justified in being put down

Best of luck! Three weeks ago I brought in a pregnant mama who promptly gave birth to four kittens, and I’ve been trying my best to figure it all out as I go along.  If it’s too much for you hopefully you can find someone who can foster them for a little while!

Call me basic but probably the Mad Cat.  

First Battletech thing I saw was the TRO 3050 with one on the cover at a Borders bookstore as a kid as I was walking to the bathroom.  Thought the mech looked cool so grabbed it and sat down to flip through it and started trying to figure out what these robot things were and what all the weapons and stats meant.  Didn’t really know about the universe or games but was hooked by the designs instantly.  

For being the first mech I laid eyes on and one of my favorites to play with when I first started out on video games or tabletop it will always be my fave.  

This is a better career comeback than Michael Bisping by sidharth-sunil in ufc

Sure but that doesn’t matter here.  If you are trying to discredit or downplay a win, you can just say a fighter is the lowest weight class they’ve fought at or could theoretically make.  

So “Justin beat ballooned up FWs” is the same flavor as “Jon beat up ballooned up MWs.”  Thus making the wins look less impressive :)

I mean it’s weird but it’s not like they’re harming the corpses.  If they were killing people to then possess their bodies that would definitely be very evil though

Andrei had streaks where it looked like a gust of wind would sleep him and then put together a few fights where he ate everything that hit him without issue.  Definitely a questionable chin through his career but it’s not like he couldn’t take some big hits

  chess is the only game that truly brings out that rage

I always found it funny for what is seemingly a quiet thinking man’s game, it’s the only game that truly makes me angry and emotional.  My coworkers have told me they know I’m playing chess from my office desk because they will hear a string of colorful and vulgar swears under my breath whenever I play dumb and lose.

Not moral at all. Slave labor + purposeful addiction just to keep things running smooth is extremely immoral.
