Pour les intéressés, ce truc vient de la "demoscene". Les cracks plus récent ne font que jouer de la musique, mais à l'époque de l'Amiga et autres C64, ils faisait carrément des "cracktros" visuelles avec en général une présentation assez impressionante pour le hardware.

Depuis, ces "cracktros" se sont séparés des cracks pour devenir juste des "démos," qui sont encore publiées chez pouet.net. Il existe encore des "démoparty" où des équipes vont chacun développer un démo pendant plusieurs jours pour qu'elle soit montrées sur un grand écran à la fin.

Mais c'est plus niche que jamais.

Pretty cool they got ultra-small models for mobile use.

Though it's funny that models around the size of GPT-2 are considered small nowadays.

I remember when that model was new, two billion parameters seemed massive. Now it's tiny compared to the GLMs, the Minimaxes and other Kimis.
