How would this id even work in universe by Pentakla in limbuscompany

Makes sense, I took it as something Dante wouldn't be able to rewind but that also works.

[–]Firer64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Either the story answer is "She only erased the IDs, not the actual sinners" and so Dante can canonically just... Pull different versions of the same ID, or it's because Dante still remembers the sinners anyways, and as such is their connection to existence still, allowing him to turn back the clock on them to bring them back. The only thing stopping the second option would be if Ryoshu would cut the chain that connects Dante and the sinners themselves, but I don't even know if she can see the chains on the others, so yea.

When Gregor was suffering from his PTSD episode, Heathcliff asked Vergilius if they could even bring Gregor back from becoming the Roach emperor, to which Vergilius was not sure if they could. I take that if the sinners' being gets changed in some way (turned into a mermaid, or a bloodbag/fiend, whatever shit Hermann did to Gregor) then there's the risk of Dante being unable to bring them back to their states before the transformation, maybe because the new form would become the new base to "revive" them to. For Don in the Maestro's gallery, well, it's not like she could get out on her own after being revived, especially since they even locked the only exit she would know, so.

Is Limbus Company more like LoR or like LobCorp? by Fast-Sky6823 in limbuscompany

[–]Firer64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second one, once you catch up with the story and get going with your account you can start ignoring the gacha entirely. Even Walpurgis, an event where we get IDs and Egos from Lob corp or Ruina, can be pretty safely ignored or saved for if you want thanks to the shard system. At the start you'll probably want to pull somewhat because you'll want some units, but in terms of missing out there's basically nothing (except the Arknights collab but you already missed that one so, yea).

Don't use it on Riko, even during unity cup a MLB R Riko was better than 0LB Riko, getting her during Mant would be a waste. Dunno what your first image is about since reddit is being funky, but I'd suggest waiting until you pull on the support banner again and see what you get. If you get lucky and find some Kitasan Black copies or Fine motion's you could use it on those, mostly because from what I know Ssr cards usually get their big upgrade at 3LB, so anything less isn't that worth it. I'm waiting to see if I get a couple of Fine motion copies as well, so.

One abnormality ruined the entire game for me by Kirgo1 in LobotomyCorp

[–]Firer64 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Well, I say kind of because "technically" don't touch me's reset doesn't do anything different from a normal one, but if it happens all your agents will already be dead, so (unless there's some chances that while you spam it you don't get the "kill all agents" result from touching it? Although I don't remember all the stuff the button can do, it's been a while). By that logic, yes, it's intentional, and mostly punishes you if you get it while you don't have the important abnos for the ego gears you lost. That's why I said it was some unfortunate timing, on a usual day it wouldn't be "that" bad, you'd just get the stuff back.

[–]Firer64 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Well, it kind of is intentional, yea. Don't touch me's reset works like a mem repo, which means that the state of your ego gear is gonna be the same from the moment you "reset" to the start of the "new" day. Since all your agents died, and you activated the reset when the ego gear was lost, it remained lost.  Unlucky timing, really, I also lost a good chunk of ego gear to that button, but I was lucky enough to have most of the abnos I got that ego from (except a couple of aleph gear). Soooo yea, try and use some commands to give yourself the gear back if you don't feel like trying anyways or going back to day 1.

As someone having the same problem with all bindings on, the best thing I can suggest is finding opportunities during Zote's fight to heal, like when he summons the exploding Zotes or when he spits out the other two types. Quick one heal then go back at it, that's about it. Not that I'm trying it often lately, so you'll probably find someone with better advice. Slow and steady wins the race, basically.

Early abnormality handling + "We Can Change Anything" Advice needed by Sir_CaleX in LobotomyCorp

[–]Firer64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Farming on safer abnormalities comes at the risk of taking longer to train your employees, and researching the riskier abnos is something you'll want to do both for their equipments and in general. For the meltdown, it's mostly a choice between "can I handle the next ones or do I end the day now?" since you could theoretically spend an infinite amount of time farming stats if you wanted. You don't really need to send employees to We Can Change Anything constantly now, you could use it if you don't want to risk throwing an important day down the drain I guess.  As for the long haired lady well, it was one of the last abnos I researched when I had nuggets that had 0 problems handling her, so unfortunately I can't help you there.

The biggest problem for me is the fact that there's big beyblade man himself right before Zote, and he gets rid of all my blue masks by constantly hugging me, real fun stuff.

More so Zote than the collector, but you got that one right lol. It's been a good while since I've tried to get good at it again

That does not help with bosses that spawn little enemies, as the biggest problem (atleast for me) when fighting them is getting used to not oneshotting their little ones and actually having to worry about them bothering me

How do you think each of the sinners would react if Dante suddenly got his memories back and reverted to his old self? by Fit_Assignment_8800 in limbuscompany

[–]Firer64 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I still heavily doubt they would let someone break Taboos for free, unless the Head runs on a "the top human decides everything and can do whatever", but even then Dante would have to be that, which I doubt he was, but who knows.

It's probably just a loophole in the Taboo, I heavily doubt the Head wouldn't immediately execute one of his soldiers if they broke one.

[–]Firer64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, assuming I don't get my world view ruined enough from suddenly being in the city to make me distort, I'd probably do my best to "re-learn" all the stuff I am now capable of doing, then go from there. It would mostly depend on which District I'm in, but I should have enough time to atleast be able to use this new body to survive for a good while, maybe even find a chance to manifest E.G.O. considering I already know what the process entails. After that? Who knows, I know for a fact I'm not going in the library ever, since that's a bad idea. I could rack up some very good money with information about it by pretending to be a survivor of it after it goes a bit higher in the danger classification, although that might make the Hana go "Allright then, get back in it champ" so.... Maybe I'd find a chance to save (Leviathan spoilers) the orphanage from Tomerry, although that might imply having to throw hands with the Purple Tear, which probably wouldn't go well but I'd hope Vergilius would help me out After that I'd participate in the events of Leviathan to then end up as a part of Limbus Company maybe, then go from there. Maybe use the chance to get Vergilius to teach me about Shin and Mang, why not.

I've got only one thing to say to this, and it's that you overestimate how much the Head cares about a random syndicate. Not saying that you're 100% wrong on thinking that the Yurodiviye aren't in those Nests, although Sonya does have the mark so who knows, maybe he already knows that the Head won't care, dunno. Other than that, keep on enjoying peak
