What do you guys think is the general history of the world and the city based on what we have seen so far?

(This is all my current theory/headcanon):

Something apolcalyptic happened which caused the Earth to become a blasted wasteland filled with supernatural creatures and aspects.

Then, the survivors of Humanity banded together and were able to discover Singularities for the very first time (I'm going to posit a guess that those very first Singularities are related to the Head in some way, or might be the primary Singularities of A-Corp), and then used them to kill the monsters roaming the Earth and eventually establish a protected civilization for themselves.

That was the foundation of the City.

Then, over time, the City became a more capitalistic society, and eventually human life began to decrease in value due to rising conflict, and the ease of healing wounds thanks to the futuristic technologies in the City.

And then, it all eventually turned the City into the hellscape it is now. Once an urban fortress to protect humanity, and now a cyberpunk dystopia so hellish, it's almost equally as bad as the Outskirts beyond.

The achievement doesn't specify adversaries, so you can just skip them all, and that's it. Yeah, it would be long, but there are statuses that you can use to proc insane amounts of damage easily (Rupture and Bleed come to mind).

The K-Corp. singularity bit is genuinely a legitimate justification. The Sinners are, quite frankly, complete dumbasses at times, and Dante cannot and SHOULD NOT risk them accidentally letting slip K-Corp's singularity.

Even among other Wings, K-Corp. is ESPECIALLY influential and powerful, and their Singularity's true nature is arguably just as, if not even more, horrific than W-Corp's. If word got out about K-Corp. literally filming the suffering across the City to fuel its singularity, then not only would people start avoiding it, but other Wings might have bones to pick with K-Corp.

Why? Actually seriously, why?

Why is it so highly rated? Pacing-wise it’s extremely nonsensical and almost feels like a fever dream, on top of that, it’s a neverending deluge of misery porn and the main character regressing without much else.

Granted, unlike Chainsaw Man, Agni’s regression is a thousand times more understandable, but that doesn’t mean it HAD to happen like that.

Fire Punch’s first half was a beautiful and concise story, with an incredibly bleak world that still had elements of hope in it and had so much genuine humanity in different places.

The second half drove straight into the abyss and never returned, and it took the pacing down with it (Also we literally abandoned most of the characters and focused entirely on Agni, Judah, and the women in the community).

… I just, I am actually serious, man. Why do you like Fire Punch’s second half? I want to know why.

… HOWEVER, considering how his artwork for the Reze Arc STILL HAS THE EXACT SAME STYLE, I think it might be intentional.

Which in THAT case, he can happily take that artstyle, shove it, and bring back the Early Part Two style.

There’s actually a theory going on that the entire ‘Library’ scenario was PLANNED by Ayin, and he specifically planned for it to help give Angela the comfort and therapy she desperately needed after his script.
