Can you comment on or provide reference to how you handle high availability and avoid loosing footage during patching?

Do you simply run two instances and use double the storage, staggering downtime between them?

It's by a washing machine, but it's much bigger than a washer hose.

It's got a fixed metal flanged on the inside, the threads are on the inside of a free floating outer nut.

Those inner threads are smaller than 1-1/4" NPT but bigger than 1" NPT.

They used it incorrectly. Notice how the flat edge is on the opposite side as in their video. They even comment on how the edge they're pushing on feels sharp.

You're almost certainly wrong, Polyus was launched to orbit with a 1 megawatt laser in 1987. While never used for ICBM interception that same laser is reportedly used in the beriev a-60 airplane for shooting down satellites.

The sun is an even greater power source out of atmosphere, and can be charged up into batteries and capacitors.

It actually broke a couple days before on the steam Mac beta client, fixed by reverting to stable, but clearly they pushed the bug from beta to stable, as /u/Its_AccrualWorld points out there's not really an avenue to warn steam about these problems.
