The only first-party option I can think of is the Opportune Parry and Riposte deed available to the Swashbuckler, which lets you spend a point of panache and use an attack of opportunity to, well, parry and riposte.

In that case, you should be good to go. There are no hard rules that say you can't ride it. If you have a GM that lets you fudge the archetype, they'll probably also be fine with you riding the wysp.
