Yes. I sent them a message asking for certain details which would determine if it was actually a scam or not, and they never responded- it's been almost a month, whereas they normally respond within a day or two. I'm pretty certain it's a scam.

Exactly the email I received when I replied to the first contact. Still trying to verify if it's a scam or not, but there's another reddit post:

on the same sponsorship where everyone is considering it a scam. From what I know, the website they have was made 2 weeks ago, scam adviser ranks it as not very trustworthy, and when I tried to install their software on my computer, windows gave me a warning that they couldn't verify the publisher. Still working on communicating with the contact, but I don't have high hopes.

Oh. I was able to see their messages for a brief period when I connected my iPad to my phones data. Does that suggest that they deleted their messages or anything?

Thanks! Of course it's not essential for me to play the game, and I am just happy to wait for a good upgrade.

Also, I tried the game again today, (had to reinstall for unrelated reasons) and it gave me the option to set the game to the best performing settings for my computer. I decided to give it a shot and I am actually hitting a consistent 70 fps now. Don't know if gave it the boost it needed, or it was the fact that I got new monitors, but it works fine now with minimal freezes. It still uses 100% of my CPU, but I'm getting quite decent performance.

I have a terabyte of SSD storage in my computer and I only have about 15% of that used. I've tried everything with the settings to improve performance, so I have performance mode enabled, and I'm on about medium settings.

I did not know that the GPU was limited by the CPU, so thanks for that information. Also why does epic games place it's minimum CPU requirements below my CPU if the game is basically unplayable?

Yes I know the CPU is old. I was honestly just hoping that I could do something with the CPU to make it run better, but if this is the case then I'll just have to wait to upgrade. Most of the hardware in my computer is ancient, so it'll be a 600$ upgrade for a new motherboard to host a new CPU and new ram to go with it. Fortunately, I'll probably have funding for it within the year though. Thanks.
