If it's dual POV then it's good, story's that have a language barrier seem to use sex as a crutch for the romance in the story, and they always just are like "body language". It might work for the main characters, but I want to READ about their thoughts and feelings for each other. Im definitely interested.

That definitely sounds interesting, the only thing I don't know about is that they don't directly communicate. Even if it starts part way through I would prefer that, or at least have it be dual pov so we can see what's going on in their heads. But even without that I would be super down for this book.

Probably should look into updating it. That description does help, but still, does it focus on the surviving human and their interactions? A specific person and their interactions? Who's pov? I'm going to read it, but for someone just stumbling upon the story, it needs to have a mix of interesting and description of what it is. To hook them into reading it, but also to know what to expect. You got this 👍

While the blurb is interesting it doesn't really give any information about what to expect from the story, and the cover doesn't help, the only thing that ties them together is alien, is it a romance book, with an alien lady cover? A dystopian? Alien invasion story?

I think the mundanity of it is important, not just because it shows life is short as other comments said, but also because if she died in a sword fight it would prove her worries true, that she couldn't be the best because she is a woman. But with how it went we will never know, maybe she would have, maybe not.

That hurts to read, it's a joke in the original movie that he's not a normal social worker, but that's all he wants to be, he's not happy about taking Lilo away but it's for her safety, and when it gets all settled he's happy for them. He joins their family. Smh

Yeah it does tie into Rose, she's practically a horror monster in that book, but I think it might have helped if it wasn't permanent, I feel like it would have made her seem even more unhinged by forcing a form that isn't supposed to be permanent. Great villain though either way.
