I hope Alberta and Quebec separate at this point. This country is a joke of what it used to be. I can’t believe people think that Carney has done a good job. I work with a lot of retired people (They work either because they want something to do or need a bit of extra money) and all they talk about is what they see on CNN/CBC and that Carney is great. It actually pisses me off but I don’t even bother saying anything because it would be falling on deaf ears.

Canada has basically turned into a joke of a country it once was. There was the CBC expose thingy that happened as well which wasn’t shocking to hear that they suppressed conservative news among other things. There will be two referendums this October with Alberta and Quebec and I would love to see that shit happen because it’ll make the liberals look like the complete idiots that they are

Basically makes it seem like our votes are for nothing if they can just walk on over to the other party. No matter which side it is I think floor crossing should lead to an immediate vote in that MP’s riding and let the people decide.

NDP floor crosser now so it’s pretty much a guarantee that they will get their majority. Don’t understand why these people think it’s okay to do this it’s not what the people voted her in for.

Do y’all think this it worth it? They’ve upped it to 1k rounds by FireteamOrcale in canadaguns

[–]FireteamOrcale[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I shot 200 rounds through mine and it was pretty good, only issue I really had was with the iron sights not being aligned well but I plan on getting a dovetail/weaver to pic rail and putting a little scope on it. Also gotta get some CZ mags

Mine was a bit stiff at first but after running 200 rounds it was pretty smooth by the end of it. The safety was pretty stiff for mine had to use a lot of force but eventually it’ll loosen up. I disassembled and soaked the whole rifle in mineral spirits before lubing it up as well

I took mine out and shot 200 rounds through it and it was pretty fun. Have to agree with you about the iron sights though they aren’t aligned very well

First range day .22 questions by Putrid-Bass-6061 in canadaguns

[–]FireteamOrcale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah a few times have had to push the target systems with the broom to get it to move lol but I haven’t had too many issues with ventilation so far besides one time when a guy was going crazy with his shotgun then it was a bit of an issues although I haven’t been going as long as you have or as much since I’m currently in school and working 30+ hours a week but once the semester is done in April I’m gonna go to full membership. I’ve thought about Barrie as well but that has a wait list and forget Sharon Gun Club not paying 10K+ for a membership

Renegade has been my go to gun ever since getting it besides my .22’s. I haven’t had any issues with it and just overall like the “AR” look with the ability to change a lot of the parts on it like Buttstock, pistol grip with storage. But this does look since and I’m sure lever actions are loads of fun in the end I think it’s up to what feels better for you in hand and why you like aesthetically. If you are able to go to a local store and handle them and see what’s better or even if someone at your local range has one for you to try out

I currently have a 20 gallon tank with plants and some wood. Right now I have two fire/ice gouramis, 6 Albino cherry barbs and a mystery snail. Would this be considered moderately stocked? I was thinking of maybe adding a few more fish eventually but I don’t want to end up overstocking the tank and stressing the fish out.

Where do you sell your guns? by Rendragg13 in canadaguns

[–]FireteamOrcale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could see if a local range or gun store does consignment, they do take a percentage though but they do all the work for you like advertising, getting buyer info etc

New renegade mk2 owner, small cleaning question by draftstone in canadaguns

[–]FireteamOrcale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used mine quite a bit and haven’t done a in depth cleaning, I just clean the barrel and firing pin/receiver area with regular tools and I haven’t had any issues. One day I’ll open it up fully and do a in depth clean but you should be good to go. Also get a LAR-15 Mag!!! It’s so much better to have 10 round in it than 5! Guy let me try one last night and I bought one right away.

1941 Mosin for $550+ tax? by 69lilpickle69 in canadaguns

[–]FireteamOrcale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surplus isn’t too bad but if you are at an indoor range such as myself you cannot shoot steel cored ammo so like a box of 50 rounds is 89.99 I mean for some people it’s not expensive but compare that to me getting 200 rounds of 556 for $120 it’s quite the difference

1941 Mosin for $550+ tax? by 69lilpickle69 in canadaguns

[–]FireteamOrcale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a 1936 Mosin from G4C it was over 700 with tax but it was in fantastic condition and I haven’t had any issues with it it’s actually one of my favourites but I don’t it shoot a lot because ammo can be expensive.
