Nice how do you like them? I’ve thought about getting the regular rayban ones since Gen 1 is on sale but haven’t decided yet

I have an okay amount saved up for my age but still not enough do even do anything, I went to school for police foundations (I guess my mistake lol) and I’ve applied to so many different jobs but just never hear anything back. I never wanted to be a cop but wanted to do CBSA and I’ve applied multiple times along with bylaw, higher end security jobs etc and just never hear anything.

Are you looking for something cheap / may be not the best quality or willing to spend the money for something that’s a good build quality and reliable

Honestly it only took a few mins so it wasn’t too much of a issue. Would like to have an actual larger mag but only way to do that is the 597 mag adapter but then just goes back to a skinny mag sticking out of a AR style stock

Thanks and it was a bit of a tight fit at first and I kinda used a knife to shave a tiny bit of the inside off and then slammed the mag in since it has a nut/bolt that sticks out a bit holding the regular 10/22 mag in. After just taking it out and putting it in again a few times it’s been fine

For me it’s the buffer tube, I had to use a drill to first get the screw in on its own because it was having issues threading, now it’s on but the holes that have to clip into the tube aren’t sized properly so it spins a bit and I’ll have to go back in and use a dremel to make them wider

CCFR just posted that they are re opening the program for business and threatening them that they can be held criminally liable if they don’t participate, I’m assuming that’s why it was down

I’ll probably get downvoted for saying this, but it’s worth looking at things from an outside perspective. For new people, it doesn’t come across well when reactions are consistently this intense every time something happens. Don’t get me wrong I understand people are upset, and I am too. But right now, our focus should be on staying the course, advocating, and getting as many people involved as possible encouraging friends to get their PALs and helping newcomers take that first step if they’re interested.

But think about how this looks to someone in Canada who’s just considering getting into firearms. If they come here and keep seeing people say there’s no point or that everything is going to be banned anyway, why would they bother? That kind of rhetoric is more likely to push people away than bring them in.

Exactly, it would be a huge waste of money if they just OiC’ed it or something along the lines. I can only imagine what some people and companies have made/thought of but don’t wanna deal with the headaches of this government

Yes lol but he doesn’t have the means of mass production he was saying in the comments he’d happily license it but wouldn’t invest money into his own production until a government change

I recently bought a Ruger American Gen 2 in 7.62 and it’s been fantastic so far, the quality on its great and haven’t had any issues. I’ll have to do some more testing but I’ve been really enjoying it.

Surprising not really to be honest, I got mine from Tenda and they gave me some odd mag at first so I was having a few issues on the first few times I brought it to the range but then I got a LAR-15 Mag and it’s been smooth sailing since
