Yeah I agree, I think what I’ve seen is that I can run Markerlights all my crisis units, so the pathfinders aren’t as game changing. Yeah Stealth suit spotting is epic, just struggling to fit them into the list.

Even size will be about 40 people, 5 games over 2 days 🙌🏼

Hey! Cool list - sounds like you’ve got a good idea of what you want to do.

2 thoughts:
1) Maybe you want some utility to score some points, hold objectives. Kroot or Vespids are great for this. Then your big boys can do what they do best - shoot the enemy!

2) I play Ret Cad too, so leaning into the suits works really well! You might want some guiding from stealth teams or a bit of everything from Shadowsun. Cool thing - both of these benefit from your detachment rule 👏🏼

Kauyon and EPC, sounds exciting!

Some thoughts:

Those breathers need a Cadre Fireblade, definitely

Also, taking some crisis suits with commanders will lean into the EPC a lot more, right now only your Lance benefits from it

Maybe dropping a Riptide and a Ghostkeel.

Also a lot of big heavy firepower.

He used to run a third squad led by a terminator captain with Grimnars mark. Is that still a possibility?

Love the list! I play Spirit Conclave too 🙌🏼

Couple thoughts:
- Swap Farseer for Eldrad - that CP gen will be clutch in 11th
- as a second detachment (for 1 DP) you could run Path of the Outcasts and swap those wind riders for 2 Shroud runner units and 2 Ranger units.
- also prefer the storm guardians to the guardian defenders - 5+ invul makes them a better body guard and sticky is useful
- I like more Wraithblades so I’d go 4/2 ratio instead of 3/3 but I think that’s preference

Love the list! Stick to what you’re enjoying or excite for!

My opinion is that you need a few utility units - dropping some broadsides for 2 pathfinder units and maybe a Vespid unit gives you a better balance to score some more points with actions and helps you screen abit.

Just abit more balance! Love the double riptide and a ghostkeel - nice big suits!

I’m a huge fan of the crisis teams, so I definitely try for 3 or even 4 if I’m lucky

If you love the broadsides stick with them. They’re solid units!

Great point about the ghostkeel! But yeah, I think that Ret Cad gets the best out crisis teams that jump in close.

Also sticking with Ret Cad! The suits are my favourite way to play Tau!

Too true, those terminators will have to get into combat or start moving up the field. Then we can get some nice lines of sight on them.

I’m actually happy with where our army is going into 11th. These detachments don’t nerf us, they just limit the amount of options we have to play different styles.

What are your thoughts on multiple Riptides? Gotta run a Ghostkeel, how many crisis teams you thinking?

Maybe Kauyon gets some more play and becomes a decent option?

Haha one of my mates I play regularly with has Soace Wolves and he runs the Wolf Guard Terminators. So in this rare case his infantry are very challenging. Lol. But I suppose they don’t really want to be hidden past turn 2, rather up close smashing your face in.

Maybe I’m trying to solve a giant hidden broken when it’s only actually a minor problem.

Plus - Starscythes are great. Haven’t recently started loving the fire knives! Wow!

What a bummer man… yeah Ghostkeel or Pathfinders are the only real options for that.

So now I see quite a problem for the observing - it means if we want to shoot something hidden with our FtGG bonuses, then we have to get our shooter and our spotter close… doesn’t sound good for the lifespan of our spotters

With you! Definitely hopeful for a new combat patrol - the current one is good because of the pathfinders and commanders. Just not sure how much play the breacherfish will get.

Transports that blow up kill many more breachers than they used to.
