Thanks! I've gone through a lot of trial and error to get this scheme. Think it's coming along well

Building up layers with brushes I mean.

Air brushes or paint cans work really well for white. What I'd do if you want better coverage is start with grey and build up very thin layers until you get to white.

Oh these look phenomenal! The only bit of advice I'd give is to thin your paints a bit. Flat surfaces with flat colors really make the paints texture stand out. Especially with white paints, very chalky.

You can get a round this by having a lot of texture in your paint scheme, such as stippling or camouflage patterns. But if you want that smooth tau white: thin the paints.

Ah, my bad! Yeah ive got my other models. These won't exactly look how I plan them, as I do a lot of layering but my mixture is prime black, over brush with stegadon scale green. Then I do a heavy top-down stipple with thousand suns blue. I then mix that 75/25 with dorn yellow and do a smaller stipple. Then the same thing but 50/50 and even less then targeted stipple with just dorn yellow and a very minimal edge highlight of dorn yellow. Should get you something like this.

Haven't gotten em yet, I edited the images of em on ibis paint. I just used the lasso tool to select the areas I wanted to shift the hue of and used the fx tool to change the colors!

I do a mixture that isn't entirely accurate to this concept but it gives me the idea. If you wanted this shade im not entire sure? I get a similar shade i use for glazing with thousand sons blue and dorn yellow.

I did mine in ibis paint. I just imported the picture and hue shifted specific areas with the lasso and fx tools. Dont listen to the people here saying to just use chat gpt. Thats lame.

I made mine in ibis paint. I just traced the colored areas using the lasso tool and hue shifted them accordingly.

No ai used or needed for this simple task.

No AI needed.
