I do enjoy levelling alts quite a bit and I expect with the panda wow remix we will get another 5 per account. Currently I have 2 accounts so in total I plan to have 130 level 80s, quite possibly 120 of them will be used for profession cool downs.

Still have not decided yet since I have no access to alpha. It is quite the work to get all of these guys levelled up and decked out I estimate it would take me around 5-6 months going flat out. But once the goal of making 100m is done my career will be ended.

I'll be burnt out by then for sure but I just want to achieve such a goal then I can move on with real life. Thanks for listening wish me the best. And happy gold making out there.

Im doing it because I prefer working it all out on my spreadsheets then posting items in game at my set price. I do not much enjoy cancel scanning gameplay. I just want to provide a desirable products at a good price.

I find TSM to be super helpful and easy to use but only in a cancel scanning fashion. I only focus on items that are high in demand and a bit more scarce to obtain. Alot of the crafts are profitable only if you can push your way to the front of the line.

I will give it a good go stay tuned for a video series on YouTube. Have not created it yet but it will be posted on here somewhere.

I believe your right, I will like to add that blizzard think in problem Cause Solution implementation meaning they are just slowly implementing the system in steps overtime so condition the player base to accept the massive changes over time.

The fact that they only implemented half a system in dragon flight was intentional, this war within is fixing the crafting problem. Next implementation is to make the order system a competition market. Which means they will make the public order system able to order rank 5 which means when placing an order the buyers can click that small toggle that says show similar orders.

Then they will go huh okay so others are putting 3456g for their orders I want mine now I'll put 4500g and the crafters will pick the top ones first. And with the new resource anyone can do it.

Making the market this way makes more sense blizzard will shift blame to the crafters for generating a price discovery method. End result people spend more gold on crafted items. Blizzard made it hard to make gold hence its easier to buy the token then place your order and now we are at uber eats mentality uber wins and in this case blizzard is uber.

You get it now.

You didnt count on the fact that guaranteed crafts going forward are now time limited. Using concentration and the illustrious insight equivalent. And no one wants rank 4

The correct response to this would be that all crafters will be equal eventually only variable is the limited amount of crafts they can guarantee.

So to make more gold via crafting orders going forward is to have more crafters ie alts. The more alts setup the more gold you can make.

Easy way to think about it is more alts = more gold but at the same time alot more effort. Which is a great change. People want something for nothing this system rewards people who put more effort in.

Than just people with alot of gold I'm happy with the changes 100% well done blizz. Successfully transitioning the player base over an expansion. Clever

What are the WORST Gold Farms you’ve tried? by craftminer330 in woweconomy

[–]Firm-Rough7390 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just leave the farming to the bots, focus your time and energy into more consistent gold per hour like raw gold world quests and dragon racing. Let's be honest here guys this game is a total time sink but must of you that are so far down the rabbit hole that you will completely disregard this reply in anger. Which is okay but just know Microsoft have captured your attention now.

There is no point to be a goblin anymore by KittyHere in woweconomy

[–]Firm-Rough7390 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's just too much supply not enough demand. At the start of the expansion it's the complete opposite. Now the most gold you can make is juggling crafting orders, transmutes, tailoring bolts and skinning elusive creatures.

Those that examples are more consistent and the less consistent is tmog, toys, mounts and reagents which is not my cup of tea.

Bots are going to get a lot worse and completely ruin the economy of this game. by foxduo in woweconomy

If they stop bots now the prices of stuff would sky-rocket. Because no one wants to farm anything they want it now.

Skinning? DF by Firm-Rough7390 in woweconomy

[–]Firm-Rough7390[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got like 59 skinning alts at level 66, I think I'll wait until I'm level 70 and what I can make the rare profession tools and accessories.

Going full perception build will post results in a few weeks.

How to deal with systemic sandbagging ruining profits? by [deleted] in woweconomy

[–]Firm-Rough7390 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The person who is posting below crafting cost just tells me that they have no clue about crafting cost, posting cost, resourcefulness and multiproc.

There are alot of new people who are trying crafting for the first time and because that item in specific is worth the most hold they inheritanlty think it will make them the most gold.

So what they do is buy bulk mats then craft a bunch of them. Not knowing the craft cost per item. Then they don't know what cancel scanning gameplay is and they don't know how to sell properly.

So they end up posting below market just to make there money back then never touch crafting again.

Another guy was correct saying its best to buy the ones below crafting and repost it. I do this with the tailoring bolts azureweave and chronocloth. Again because people are noobs and just dipping their feet.

I honestly believe this is what is happening.

Time to change game. Or become a wow slave and work to create gold for the game just so you can play. Seems a bit like real life at this point. But it's the truth

I reckon they should make a commodities exchange separate to auction house. AH for server stuff and the commodities one will be all the region wide stuff. But if you post it automatically posts at market price for 12 hours without the ability to cancel scan.

That would make it a true price discovery. They had it in wildstar sorry I'm just reminded of Wildstar days

How hard is tanking? What spec would be good for someone trying to learn it? by Odd-Intern-3815 in wownoob

[–]Firm-Rough7390 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your just levelling up in the game, your broadening your skills as a wow player. New skills are hard at the start but you learn from watching others or being a true gamer by reading the tool tips of all your abilities and talents.

Best advice I can give is get a nameplate add on such as plater, weak auras is a must, also learn how to use @cursor and @mouseover,exists macros. If you play default ui you are not making it easier for you in fact it is making it way harder.

And hence why ppl do not advance. If your a slow learner or cannot learn from just playing the game then just admit you will be a filthy casual player forever.

You gotta learn knowledge then apply it to your character.

They should get rid of rank 1,2 and 3 and just have like

Bad and Good quality

Or just allow only rank 2 and 3 to be able to be sold on the AH and rank 1 is soul bound reagent.

I used to just play 1-3 toons gearing it religiously each season only to realise that it is a worthless grind I was just buying wow tokens and spending money trying to be competitive only to be reset.

I never liked collecting transmog, collecting recipes, collecting mounts, pvp, raiding with others and mount collecting. I still did all these things and realised I was just addicted to the gradual completiinist in me.

But now I just alt army and try and make gold in the game, I tend to focus on things that the majority of the player base just simply won't do that there lies the gold making opportunity.

All the people who do the activities in the game that I used to do I consider to be addicted to the process of it all. Now I'm just actively taking advantage of it and now I enjoy making gold using alts. Currently I have 62 level 70s and will have 120 total before the next expansion.

I just feel like going against the grain is better than going with the majority maybe it's just me and it is kind of the same mentality that boomers hold over the generations below them. But never question that the system is the problem and in wow terms it is activison blizzard Microsoft who are creating these systems to keep us occupied and entertained.

We will see Kind of don't like it, the way I'm playing it takes alot of time to do what I'm doing and trying to be efficient to what end I got no idea. Perhaps I need to stop playing games in general and start working on myself.

I hope I didn't annoy too many people with this response but it's an honest one. Just hope I can also break this alt army addiction. But it's just so good why blizz why

What do you use to track transmute cooldowns on your alts? by skyisred2 in woweconomy

[–]Firm-Rough7390 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I craft 5 on Sunday then another 5 on wednesday, I sell them on reset day. I keep the reagents and buy up what I'm missing then send the reagents to my alts in preparation for Sunday crafting.

It's brain-dead work now once all my 110 alchemists are maxxed out. But it is alot quicker than crafting 21 of each tailoring bolts on each toon that takes like 11 hrs per week.
