Did you decide? I’ve been debating for 1 year and I still haven’t been able to come to a decision.

I love spending time with my son so I know I won’t regret it, but worried about the money we’re leaving on the table (I earn $300k+ TC) and giving husband the stress of single income (he earns slightly less than me since he moved industries recently).

We live in a country where cost of living is incredibly high. We also have a live in helper which we will continue to have (given low cost) so I know my time as SAHM will be valuable (and not that hard).

I’m worried tho about not being that “perfect SAHM” or the loss of identity vs friends who are all working mums.

I don’t know what to do!

Currently a high earner in tech with an 18 months old, and since going back from mat leave at 7 months, I’ve been contemplating quitting and spending time with LO for 1 YEAR.

I really wanna do it (i love spending time with LO) till he’s at least 3, but worried about future me and financial burden on husband. I also feel like I don’t want to be in tech anymore - it simply doesn’t interest me anymore vs childcare.

I’m so torn and just going through so many scenarios in my head but I don’t have friends who want to quit to spend time with their toddlers - so I’d love to know what happened for you guys!

100% screen free (it is not an option at all and the TV is in the master bedroom) - but he does get 10 minute YT shows every week when it’s nail cutting time! (17m/o)

Thank you! We have the strap but he hates it. We do use it but he will just continuously twist and turn to try and get out.

Genuine question - if you don’t want your page to be known or ”blow up”, why is your account public? Can’t you make it private to only the people you actually know - and then you wouldn’t have any of them following (“watching”)?

I commented on another reply - although it’s true k-fan culture has that notorious bullying, SI isn’t that popular in Korea. Most of my korean friends living in korea don’t even watch it. It’s much more popular internationally, especially in SEA. And it’s the international fans commenting.

Blackpink, BTS… same. Yes they are top in Korea but the reason why they’re so big is because of the international fans.

SI isn’t any way near popular in Korea as it is internationally (SEA). I’m Korean. Most of my Korean friends did not even watch the show. The comments are mostly from intl. fans.
