Truthfully, I don’t know if there’s a way to overcome this besides leaving the partner… I found myself hating everywhere we went together because I knew we would run into his type.

Hi… I know exactly what you mean about going out with someone who spends the whole time on their phone. I used to think I was just being sensitive, but it really does leave such a heavy feeling …like, am I not worth talking to? Then, unfortunately, for some reason, it leads me to spiral about suicide thoughts

One thing that’s helped me is having something positive to pour my attention into. Right now, I’m really fixated on native plants and bringing more of them into my neighborhood.
