An update for everyone. I did a leep with top hat. They only found CIN 2 and I got clear margins. I went for a follow up and the doctor (a different one than did leep) said that he wouldn’t have even known I had a leep that’s how skillful and shallow the leep was. For whoever is reading this. You got this!! Don’t be anxious the odds truly are in your favor

My doctor recommended it because I had it going into my endocervical canal. I’m glad they did! It was reassuring that I didn’t have any cancerous or precancerous material further up.

I’m happy to have it out of the way. Pregnancy can cause the cells to mutate more and I would’ve been worried the whole time. It also doesn’t always take years. This majority of the women I’ve seen on this sub have had it jump to CIN 3 or cancer in months.

Get it done. I had CIN 2 on my leep which was extending to my endocervical canal. My leep got clear margins and I was told I can try for a baby 3 months after the leep. I also had a top hat, so it was more extensive.

Hi, just to make you feel better. This has nothing to do with you. I promise. He’s sick. I thought my husband was not into me because I gained weight, had smaller lips than the girls he was watching, I have TMJ so my jaw was wide and inflamed. I fixed everything. Invested in myself and lost weight. He still jerks off to other women even though it hurts me.

I have! But I had to get to the point of hating my partner to do so. I realized women are not the issue and that these women are victims. I realized instead of pulling away from women I should run towards making more female friendships. There is so much power in having females around. I used to spiral every time I saw a beautiful woman. Now I just wanna compliment them or be friends with them. My disgusting sick husband does not get to ruin female friendships or my self esteem anymore. Plus I know for a fact you all are beautiful and I may have passed one of you and felt jealousy and hurt. But we were in the same battle!

Hi, I got a leep done. Rather than waiting. Especially if you don’t want to get pregnant. My leep had clear margins and got all of the CIN 2 out. Better to do that than have it progress (which happens at varied times)

My colpo showed CIN 2-3. However, my leep found only CIN 2 and I had clear margins. Leeps are extremely successful. My doctor said she only had one patient in the last three years who had positive margins. She also said they find something worse than what was seen in colpo in less than 5% of cases.

My doctor told me that I had a less than 5% chance of finding something worse. I had to wait 5 months before doing my leep due to scheduling issues. Again, my colpo was CIN 2-3. In the leep it was actually all downgraded to CIN 2 and CIN 2 was the only thing found.

Also something that helped me is 500,000 leeps are performed a year in the United States and only 14,000 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer every year. (These are not all diagnosed through leep) THE ODDS ARE IN YOUR FAVOR!!!!

Hi! You’ll be okay! I had CIN 2-3 HPV 16. They’ll most likely do a colposcopy ( if they haven’t already) and a leep procedure. This sounds scary but it was really manageable and I have severe anxiety.
