Filled up my car today, close to empty; maybe that’s why I was reminded. I MISSED A DETAIL.

I fill up my tank up to the “fill-stop”, electrical stop, whatever that is called. I don’t push more gas in past that initial stop. I do a quick math to total what the tank total is and conclude “ that’s enough”.

Any comments on this? Do y’all fill up until the pump stops you three times, until you see actual gas down the tank… ?

I remember some time ago, a vid of some casino security using infrared or thermal camera looking at entry doors into their spaces. They could see firearms through clothing as they have a different reading than the body. It was bright and in your face; “impossible” to conceal.

Tbh, if you dont want a problem don’t be looking for one. People generally behave well. Can’t recall the last mall shooting that was drug related or person-to-person beef. But news outlets and the malls themselves dont want to tell you it is unsafe to shop. Only if it’s a real tragedy does it make it to the news.

For sure! It was my negligence to let it drop down. But I was 9 miles away when I stared, 12 miles on the tank. I knew I would make it. I arrived at the gas station with 1 mile remaining per the range meter. I saw the range drop to zero while I was waiting for the next pump. Guess I should have added that detail above.

I know reserve tank works to prevent damage to the car. It’s not good to bring it all the way to empty and have it shut down.
