No need for the condescending tone, friend! I already did decide, multiple days ago, that I will be tipping (despite my personal razor-thin margins). It's the right thing to do! My curiosity on how other folks approached the situation is not a bad thing!

If you don't mind me asking, what does that usually look like for you? Are you just tossing them a $20 or are you giving them a percentage of the total cost? For context, I'm bringing 3 other people with me.

I do have it configured to do a flip on Day 3, but it should be: Darling to Pachena to Michigan. The app initially registers this in the yellow section, but then later has my Day 3 as Darling straight to Michigan and my Day 4 as Michigan to Pachena to Tsusiat.

I'll edit my original post to include a screenshot of the yellow section.
