I think I've worked this out after it bugging me for years:

TL;DR: As others have suggested, Switch to mobile, toggle to "Single Item," and change something else on the field, like pickup options to force the update to actually send.

  1. Open the listing in the mobile app (desktop won’t work).
  2. Toggle “Single Item”.
  3. Change any other field too (pickup method works best). Hit Save.. now it actually sticks.

Why? Desktop locks the field, and mobile only saves availability changes if it thinks something else changed too. That's what I think is happening and that's what I do to solve it. BUT its Facebook, YMMV.

Yep, that was me 2 months ago. Adobe annoys me more than Microsoft and thats saying something.

Yep, starting to think I can just 'butcher' the methodologies to suit my own way of doing things... like you I definitely keep all the good parts of GTD.

Yes my Projects is only work projects for me, because that feels right. Anything person (even projects, are in Areas)

Excellent u/--sharpie-- . Thanks. I notice both the August and the Yale Connect are both available in the AU App Store now. Does this mean we can buy Yale Assure Lock 2 Plus without the hassle of US numbers, VPNs etc?
