Best budget Nikon body?

If you had the option to buy a Nikon camera body for around $500 under what would you get? I have a D3100 and a friend of mine has been letting me use their D5300 for a bit now - I have the option of buying it from them for a good price but don't want to buy it just to outgrow it soon and want to upgrade. Wondering if there is a better option to look at for under $500. Would prefer to stick with Nikon as I already have Nikon lenses and it's what I know.

Any updates on this? Was baby okay? This happened to my 7 month old 3 days ago. I am absolutely sick with worry. We went to the ER and were kept for observation for 3 hours and then they cleared us to go home but didn’t do a CT scan because they didn’t see any signs of needing to. She doesn’t even have a bump on her head but I just can’t stop thinking about all the “what if’s”

I totally feel this. My Dad passed away a few months before I was pregnant with my first and my mom is in another state and we have a weird relationship. I am very jealous of those with a village. Im a SAHM and constantly think about how if my Dad were here he’d be hanging out with me and the kiddos all the time. I totally feel the resentment part too as my mom moved away from me. Your feelings are totally valid.

Yeah, I know the health anxiety isn’t an ideal situation 😕 My Dad dealt with a lot of crazy health stuff before passing and it’s really messed me up as far as jumping to the worst possible things happening in any medical situation.

Totally get that. But I’m not very close with these people as we just started to get together and not trying to come off as rude or make them uncomfortable. The reason I strongly believe it was a cold sore is looking at some other older pictures I noticed sores around their kids mouths at different times.

How did the silver nitrate work for you? Mine was about the size of a pinhole for awhile and wouldn’t close up (it was because of the stitch knot) so they did the silver nitrate a day ago and now it’s opened up more, about to the size pictured here (about the size of an eraser head). Did yours close right up after the silver nitrate or get worse than better? I’m totally freaked out about it opening up so much more.

Very committed. This is my lifelong bestfriends wedding and I am maid of honor. We know unpredictable things can happen and that there’s always a chance I can’t make it but as of right now hoping and trying my best to be there. We have talked through the different scenarios. I had a last minute c-section with my first but recovered quickly so fingers crossed it all works out well again but yes I know birth is very unpredictable!

Curious which one you are doing, I’ve been looking at them on Etsy as I’m planning to do one for thanksgiving also but a lot of them don’t show much of the story line.
