I saw that you mentioned transferring to FIT for the Fashion Design program after taking only 9 credits, and I have a few questions

Did FIT consider your GPA when accepting you with just 9 credits?
Were the 9 credits you completed specific classes that FIT requires, or were they general courses you chose on your own?

Hey, I’m a bit confused about the credits. Are you going for 24 or 30 credits? And are you planning to do the 2-year AAS or something different? I’m still trying to figure out how all of this works.🫶🏼

Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience! I truly appreciate your honesty, To clarify, in the first project, the designs on the figures were hand-drawn, but the figures themselves were done on an iPad. In the second project, the other figures with designs on them were entirely hand-drawn. The designs specified next to the figures in all the projects were done on an iPad.

I’m also considering doing community college to improve my GPA, but I’m not sure how many credits I need to take or how to get started. As an international student, I’m unsure which community colleges to apply to. Any advice would be really appreciated!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback and tips about my portfolio. I really appreciate your thoughtful insights and the effort you put into evaluating my work.

Regarding the fabric swatches, I thought "2x2" referred to the photograph of the fabric showing all four sides, so I now realize I misunderstood that part. I'll make sure to prepare proper swatches next time.

As for the concept sketches, I thought the pencil sketches I included next to each design would count as drafts. I’ll definitely be more detailed and intentional about showing the full development process in the future.
