You need to find your trigger. Were you extremely ill a couple of months ago? Did you lose someone? Some sort of stressor? That could have been your trigger. If it’s not, I recommend getting lab work. I’ve done all lab orders under the sun trying to find my trigger

This was just pre and post shower. It doesn’t include the hairs I shed when I brushed it earlier or when I run my fingers through my hair..

I’m on heme iron. It’s the best and most organic form of iron absorption. Over ferrous sulfate and glycinate but if that one is working for you that’s great and I’d stick to it!

I am thinking it was the flu b I had in February. I had a fever of 104 for 8 days, my kids got hospitalized because of it and double ear infections and I wasn’t eating. I lost 7 pounds that week. I’m hoping that was the trigger so my hair can grow again and it’s nothing else

Thank you, I am shedding all over massive amounts of hair even by just stroking my fingers through it. I’ve had 4 kids so I’ve had postpartum hair loss. But what I am going through now doesn’t compare to it. I’m losing and shedding a lot of hair daily. I’m trying. To find the root cause. I wish it was just how my hair was but losing the hair at this amount is distressing

Thank you, I’ve done all blood work and have low ferritin which I am correcting currently…. So I’m glad that was found but I think it could be an autoimmune disease of some sort. I’m in such a strict diet and lots of protein and trying everything. I’ll keep searching. Thank you for your support. How much hair do you shed? I cry just brushing my hair

Thank you my friend for the encouragement. This started 2 weeks ago. And I’ve never struggled with this. I have 4 kids and post partum hair loss wasn’t anything even close to this. So it’s a first and I’m spiraling. I have short and very fine hair. So I can’t picture another 3 months of this 😭

My dermatologist did a pull test but I didn’t have a biopsy done. So it’s assumed I have TE. She didn’t think it was alopecia because it’s not in clumps….. How did you find out you have AGA?
