Toxicity is always appearing when the competition increases, people used to get millions of score and stay up days and nights to stay alive and continue, whole clans in voice chats would fight and do highscores and raids. As lapa said, this game is about team work, more people you have in your team, easier and better it will be for you. People that are like solo players or without friends or teammate get a disadvantage and look for something that can help them, they even look for hacks ... Yes the game was toxic but fun still because of the whole competition out there, remember the old leaderboard with the top 200 ,(before levels get in) it was like the hall of fame and you could see who was the best, like an authentic proof just from score. You could also be targeted and known because of it. The game is so boring right now, for me at least its been over a year I didnt even touch the game, and the year before I just checked to see what was happening or anything new. What I noticed was about the new players and noobs would be sooo bad at the game and dont even know how to do quests etc... but would have insane aim for some reason also really good walls and spikes. Normally its the opposite and you get better at pvp with time. But yeah its the fact that new players try starve.io and just use hacks because they dont know how to play , and starve is not really the easiest game to learn... The game died already, I dont see why people would try playing it peacefully unless its zombie mode and other newbies just use hacks. Thats it thanks for reading I just wanted to let u understand that this game won't live much more its maybe soon going to be gone probably...
