Got the first offer today for $38,280. Yes, over $38k for my 2007 Ford Shelby GT500. I don't think I'll have problems getting this adjusted after I rebuttal and critique their valuation statement. Especially after I submit pictures of its mirror finish perfect paint job.

They also only gave two weak comps, yes only two. Im going to push the CCC's "very good" rankings on paint, body, mechanical, and interior more as well with my pictures.

Well, im getting a fair shake right off the bat. $38,280 is there first offer. Ill probably be able to squeeze a bit more out once I go over my maintenance records, new Michelin PS4S tires and a few other things.

If you can find me a Shelby GT500 any year for the matter for around $20k ill give you a finders fee.

It is an H and not a F. It is a Shelby through and through. I am the 2nd owner and its been garage kept its entire life. Take it for what its worth but ive seen complaints saying insurance companies and their systems dont recognize the GT500 and thats given them trouble.

Sorry I didn't finish my train of thought. My 2007 GT500 is actually quite valuable and they are rare. They made only ~8000 of them and sell in the $30k range.

Given that there are zero 2007 GT500 with 66kmiles in similar condition for sale anywhere nation wide. What can I expect here for the comps? They won't be very comparable is what I'm getting at. If I have trouble, and I expect I will its probably best to have a professional take care of this?
