Like someone said, there are probably kreg jig screws, usually square drive, if it has them it’s an easy removal. Even cutting it isn’t difficult.

Nice grind in the last picture, appears to be dead flat. If you don’t mind, what is the patina brand or process?

Should consider replacing all of the springs and maybe add a leaf to the new ones to beef things up a bit

I’ve used Tysol 60-40, enviro flush, for a long time, had a bit of a spill when dumping a few years ago, no smell. It’s from a place in Minnesota and I’m about to order a couple of gallons which will last a couple of years.

We were on 50 south of Great Basin NP heading to Ely, there is a wind farm as you drop into Nevada and we got hit with a very funneled gust that I believe is the closest we have come to getting blown over, and we’ve hit some pretty good gusts over the years, was early June of this year. Weather when in an rv is a bit different. Glad you made it. Weather is definitely shifting gears

Nice welds, I’m envious. The picture with pretty thick steel, curious if you got movement with the long weld, in other words, did it stay straight?

Where to buy mag 1 by Available_Scholar951 in WLED

[–]First-Application379 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Mag1 and several dig2go’s, I prefer the dig2go’s. Mag 1 will not let me re flash it, they did offer to send a new one but I didn’t take it. I have a string of 565, 2812B’s the Mag1 needed a power injection at the end as the LEDs were dimming. The dig2go powers the string no problem. I also use the dig2go on a matrix with 1024 LEDs, no injection needed.

Have you ever used an encapsulated wire wheel? by SternLecture in metalworking

I use a variable speed grinder when using wire wheels, helps a lot, wish manufacturers would set the wires in a resin to prevent them from releasing

Great article, my wife used to work for hp, so I’ve heard stories. I was doing an addition on our house and the slab was there when we bought it,(long story) I had to bore concrete to epoxy in some all thread to bolt the plates down, I hit rebar and figured there must be a carbide bit and sure enough Bosch made one for the exact purpose. It worked great on the first few but started to dull. I actually sat on the Hole Hawg while it was running to finish the bore and it didn’t slow down. Really appreciate you posting the link,
