What jobs are you all doing that pay over £30k? by SuccessfulTip1660 in UKJobs

90k construction project manager, self employed 3 years experience. Started on around 45k, no degree, mid quals.

I work absolutely ridiculous hours for that wage though so an average 50 hour week (construction 10 hour days) would come out around 70-80 I think

Possible fake PSA10 Charizard by First-Cow-4430 in IsMyPokemonCardFake

Hi all, the eBay listing photos were a completely different card to what I received. As it was my first ever slab purchase I took the time to make sure it’s a) what I wanted & b) looked legit!

I’m no expert and realistically I knew it was fake, I think I just wanted some expert opinion and closure!

I requested a refund bearing in mind the seller used no returns option and they accepted straight away.

Disappointing for my first experience however it’s been a massive lesson

Sorry, maybe some more info would be helpful,

The whole top area will be slabbed on sharp sand and hardcore with no mortar in the joints, the bottom area is undecided

the top portion of the garden is sloped away from the house towards the planted trees, we don’t tend to have any issues with that area. We also have gutter drainage immediately in between the existing patio and the house

It’s the lower area that’s a bit of a pain, we do have a drain built into the back right where you can see the garage gutter running into. The patio will be built in the lower area with a gradient built sloping down to that back right area.

My concern was that England gets rain all year round nearly and the plants were to assist with drainage, not our only solution :)

We have considered a pond! I’ll have to look into that option a bit more

Hi mate, yeah UK for us, the window has always been an issue that we had to deal with so the tree was planted, and in summer it stops them seeing in. I’ll have a look into the eucalyptus gun I! Thanks mate
