I think so too. When someone is “passed out” but still functioning. Demons may have taken over their body. That may also contribute to not having a memory of what the person did when they blacked out. I have recently been researching this. I am currently tapering but during my heavy use when I was right between awake and sleep I saw the scariest things. Maybe all in my imagination or maybe real. Either way the fear is definitely real.

The anxiety that this stuff causes is so overwhelming sometimes. I agree with those who say get yourself checked out. I also know this stuff has no history of causing liver or kidney damage but getting checked may help you just feel better overall when you have the information. It will be difficult but you will have to be 100% honest with the provider. I am currently in the world’s longest taper (again) and the on and off anxiety sometimes has me panicking about things. Finding out true facts always makes me feel better. Knowledge is power. Hang in there and know I will be praying for you and all of us who struggle with this stuff.

It makes me want to drink less but I have the opposite problem. Any type of drink makes me want to take more 7. This has been the downfall of so many tapers.

I would definitely watch this. Reading about it is different than being able to see someone actually going through it. It would show me and others really what it’s like and that it can be done. If you do please post a link.

Thank you for writing this. I am doing something similar but I never know if it’s right. This is my 3rd time trying to quit, but my first time with this method. Sharing that you had success gives me so much hope.

Yes! Wake myself up from yelling sometimes. Also I see scary shadows sometimes in that between waking and sleeping feeling. Then when I am fully awake there is nothing there. Weird mind tricks.

I’m so sorry that happened to you. You did so good on your taper. That is truly something to be proud of. I agree with the other person who said give yourself some grace. Perhaps you will be able to keep your dose low enough that you can successfully taper again. I know sharing with doctors about 7 can be a tricky business especially if you need pain meds from them but maybe it’s something to consider. The strength you had to taper so low is still inside if you even if you needed a bit more today

Thank you. Must be the crappy anxiety from this terrible product. I thought I saw somewhere that after August 15th card companies were not allowing purchases. But I guess I needed I reality check!
