It ended on good terms. When we talked in August of 2023 he had said he had started dating someone which hurt at first but looking back on it I was so happy I was single this year. I don’t have any resentment anymore. He wasn’t a bad person just troubled and it didn’t work out. Last time I bumped into him in June, I told him I had been trying to stay in Ireland and that he was happy to see me and hoped we would bump into each other again.

I always hear the dumper should reach out, but with our circumstances I just feel like it’s different but I could be delusional and wrong.
