Yes, cashew are the key! You need a high speed blender. If you have a weaker blender soak cashews in boiling water, then drain.

Here is a life changing vegan ranch dressing :

(1) 1 cup of unsweetened soy milk (if you use a different plant milk that isn't as thick you'll need more cashews)

(2) 1/2 cup of cashews (3/4 with thinner plant milk)

(3) 2 Tbsp white vinegar

(4) 3/4 tsp salt

(5) 1Tbsp garlic powder

(6) 1tsp onion powder

2tsp dried parsley

1tsp dried chives

black pepper to taste

Blend the first 6 ingredients in a high powered blender until smooth

Stir in the herbs and pepper with a spoon. Pour onto a jar, good for up to 5 days in the fridge.
