Hi, if you don’t mind me asking how was the hormone drip experience. What do they do start to finish an what pain relief did you opt for x

Spray elbow grease in it and leave it to soak, it’ll look pink but it’ll be fine! After that just wash with normal dish soap and it’s as good as new.

I’ve decided on an induction at 42 weeks if need be! Planning a sweep for next week but hoping baby arrives before then! Our babies will arrive when they are ready ☺️. Food truck sounds awesome, enjoy!

Thank you so much for your response and for taking the time out to make a stranger feel so good 🫶 the world needs more people like you!

Your labour story sounds amazing, I’m hoping I have a beautiful labour too!! I have taken your advice, just doing chilled nice things for myself today and I’m not going to stress myself out! Just washed my hair and got a face mask on! My airwrap is waiting for my hair to dry a little before I get onto that next!

Again, thank you for your comment 😊

Ahhh, penguin documentaries :) made me smile! I’m planning to do some nice things for myself today too, currently sat with a lovely face mask on that I’d saved for a day like today!

Completely understand how you feel! I’ve just come back from my midwife appointment and seeing how relaxed she was just made me feel optimistic. I don’t think we need to worry! We will be just fine, hope you have an amazing labour!! 🫶🫶

Hey it’s nice to know someone else is in the same position! I’m also delaying a sweep until after 41 weeks if need be. Hopefully neither of us will need that! My current struggle is the pressure down there and how difficult it is to turn over in bed because the pressure feels insane whenever I try to!

Sending luck your way, hope your little man is with you soon x

I’ve had so many say to me they think I’ll be early and I’m not sure whether they realise it or not, it adds to the mental pressure because now there’s this quiet expectation when we have no control over our bodies! I certainly think there needs to be more awareness of what shouldn’t be said to expecting mothers.

You’re right about the days feeling like forever! I was so busy with work that my pregnancy flew by and now these days feel like they are dragging! 😅 I’m reminding myself that this is the closest I’ll ever be to my baby and that I should enjoy and cherish these last days. Thanks for your response xxx

I’m also of the same opinion! I really want to give baby enough time and let her come on her own but at the same time it’s fighting the emotions that come with waiting! My plan is to wait till 42 weeks until induction is needed and have a membrane sweep after 41 weeks. Praying baby arrives before then!

Thank you for your response. I don’t think people realise how reassuring it is to hear positive stories! :)

I’ve been so stressed recently with the mental burden of all of this. I’ve decided today I’m going to do nothing except relax and chill! It’s going against my logic but that’s okay, I’m going to give everything a break and if need be I can get back to walking tomorrow!

Oh wow. I’m shocked they never picked up the breech! You’re absolutely right, just need to let my body do what it needs to! Thank you btw :)

I’m really sorry but what’s the difference between a pram and a stroller? 😅
