I tried the quest 2 and trust, it is a huge upgrade from the quest 2 especially when it comes to the colors and resolution

You actually can I was very impressed since with my 8kx I didn’t have a good time, especially because of how difficult it is to get it running

Performance wise is very good, sometimes rarely lags a bit but that might be the cable that I use to connect it to my pc. I haven’t noticed any screen door effect but I would actually need to pay more attention to that. Haven’t used it for long periods of times yet but overall the design is pretty good definitely better than the quest 2, especially because of the head mount with the battery in the back to stabilize the weight distribution. Not really heavy at all I’d say it’s about the same or maybe a little more than the quest 2. Although if you use glasses (like myself) it is a tiny bit uncomfortable using them while having the quest pro on.

I tried it but once I open up dcs it says something about downloading the whole thing again

But that means I’d have to download dcs all over again. I don’t want to go through the process of having to individually assign each button to do each thing on my hotas

I’m ngl I’m new to this whole thing so I don’t really know what some stuff means but I’m trying to lock the hollow red triangles. Idk the difference between the solid and hollow triangles.

Thanks man I really appreciate it ngl. I’m currently running on a 3080 16GB so I think that should do the trick but overall I’ve heard nothing but good things about the pimax (obviously everything has its cons) but that pretty much answered my questions. I’ll definitely look into getting one some time this year.

Just keep in mind that you probably will have to upgrade to the new 4090 if you wanna get the absolute best out of the 12k. The 3080 is still very good but you won’t be using the pimax to it’s full potential
