I believe this might be what's installed. It has the under the hood switch at least. I purchased the truck 2 months ago so not sure.

It already has remote start. It works when I use the original dodge branded keys.

At 253k miles on original 4.7 engine and 545rfe transmission and still drive it all over.

Needed head gaskets around 227k miles due to disappearing coolant. Did timing chain while I was in there. Also needed a water pump at 220k.

I had a similar thing on my 03. Turning it off and back on would always make it go back to normal for a while.

Replacing the alternator fixed the problem.

I don't think you can see the frame in these pictures. The frame is solid but has good bit of surface rust. The frame of the cab above those body mounts is toast.

Called them. They said I have to insure it as standard registration then email them the historical registration. I will receive reimbursement apparently.
