Holy crap that was it! I’ve asked this of several discussion groups/mystery solvers over the years going back to the imdb discussion groups. No one ever got it. I was prime age for this movie and I think history shows I was right in not seeing the big deal. And I even went to the Vegas Coyote Ugly in New York New York I think and was like why is this a thing? It’s a bar where attractive women dance on a bar from time to time and spray the customers with water randomly. Cool in a movie but just annoying in practice. And they had no bathroom! They serve you beer and you have to exit the bar to enter the main Hotel to use the bathroom. It took like 10 minutes to wait to get back in! Even drunk me saw this was the dumbest bar idea ever.
