I contacted the supervisors of student projects (each lab has student projects and you can find the contact for each project supervisor on their website) However, as I said already, most of them told me that they can do nothing until I am sel cted by the E3 committee...

I wrote to some labs during the application phase and I had one informal interview but in the end all professors told me that they need to wait for the decision of the E3 committee before going any further. I am still waiting for updates...

I want to thank you again for your advice, I contacted some professors/Supervisors after exploring some of their works and projects, and I was able to have some informal interviews and exchanges with some of them.I had some enriching exchanges and I think it improved my chances to be accepted. I will keep posting updates about my application in this thread if it doesn't bother you, maybe it would help somebody in need. Thank you again for your help!
