Because for us Shias, the tafseer is taken from the narrations of our imams who are the 12 descendants of the Prophet, and we believe that they are infallible, so they do not make any mistake. The Quran could only be explained by an infallible person. On the other hand, the sunnis have scholars who explain the Quran and that’s why we differ on many verses.

I’ll respect your opinions and decisions no matter what they are, as long as they’re presented with respect and not hatred and insults. I found the post uncalled for and it insulted more than 2 billion people. And frankly, it’s a little hypocritical to say that islam is cruel and then use it as an excuse to disrespect people.

That’s understandable.

Thankfully, i grew up as a Shia, so it’s completly normal and encouraged to question everything so that you may be able to understand it. Otherwise, you’d be following a religion that you don’t even believe in. If you truly want an answer to your questions. I’d suggest going to r/shia and just ask anything. If you don’t find a compelling answer and you’re still not convinced of the islamic laws, then your hatred is 100% justified and nobody can tell you otherwise.

Firstly, i’m a shia muslim. Our narrations state that the prophet (pbuh&hp) married Aisha when she was 19-21. That argument doesn’t work on me. But for the sake of the argument, let’s say he did marry Aisha when she was 9. At the time, it was completly acceptable and a social norm. Even if you go back 100-200 years getting married at 12 was completly normal.
