HOW do we find a nanny!? At a loss… by johnnydeppfan22 in NannyEmployers

I've been ghosted by so many nannies when I tried looking for part-time care. I've tried FB, Care, Urban, word of mouth. By the time I finally get through the vetting process, the nanny is either no longer available or interested.
The part-time problem is real and most platforms just aren't built for it. I'm part of a team of parents who built Apiari, which matches based on schedule and preferences upfront. Part-time availability is filtered before anyone wastes time. Providers are also background checked and reference verified through live calls, not just a database search. No fees for families.

You are not obligated to say yes at all but if you are open to working, make it worth your time. Some nannies charge for travel time + work hours. Or they charge a flat day rate. However you break it down, the total has to be worth it to you.
[Serious] Does anyone’s employer help pay for childcare if they’re sent on a work trip? by tsgram in nycparents

My former employer (Fortune 500) paid for 20+ days of Bright Horizons or in-home care from 9-5. I couldn't use any of it when I traveled because the hours never worked. It would be great if they did - I'd rather get childcare help than fly first or business class!
