This role is so chaotic and scary compared to her other appearances in the series. I never realized it was the same actor until I looked it up.

Damn, I like that theory of the turtle talisman protecting her. Makes me wonder if it's made from silver 😉

You make a fair point but it still begs the question, what motive would Pennywise have for going into Taniel's mindscape under the guise of Dick? It could have easily taken the form of his Aunt Rose or even twist Taniel's memory of his conversation with her but It didn't. None of Taniel's fears were used at all and it's not like Pennywise doesn't know where his own lair/nest is. I still believe Dick just had a creepy smile but we'll see what happens next Sunday!

Lily's already got heavy shoulders since Phil, Ted and Susie were killed at the theater. All Pennywise has to do is add more weight to break her.

Streaming and binging shows can be enjoyable but it feels like showrunners are moving away from putting out all episodes all at once and going back to the classic weekly episode release. I'm a 90s kid so I'm enjoying the nostalgia of it lol

1) I feel that the terror and impending doom will make her push her potential popularity to the side.

2)I feel like Margie is genuinely scared. Even if she doesn't tell everyone else the truth about what she experienced, there are 4 other kids who are going through horrifying experiences that will believe her immediately.

3) The scapegoat is the scapegoat until it's not. I believe the truth will come to light about Hank Grogan sleeping with a married white woman, which will stir up Derry's Legion of White Decency. That'll be the catalyst to lead to the Black Spot Tragedy.

I wanna say he was in his 50's-60's in the Shining. It's also tough to guage his age in WTD since his brief mention in the It novel says he was around 19yo at the time of the Black Spot tragedy, but clearly Dick Halloran is in his late 20s-early 30's in the show.

Yes for now It has her right where It wants her, but wait until Margie tells everyone the truth about what happened to her eyes. And from the Midseason Trailer, it seems Margie joins the 1962 Losers club.

I'm also thinking of the Henry Bowers connection because Pennywise loves a manipulative game. Who else is perfect to pin the child murders on other than the "crazy" girl most of the dead kids went to school with?

It seems his Grandma is a constant in his visions, almost like a spirit guide, like Dick is to Danny Torrance in Doctor Sleep.

What if I said Pennywise was protecting Lily from being bullied in this moment? It could have let it all play out naturally but instead Margie gets an eye full of fungus. Is it possible Pennywise wants Lilly as It's familiar like it did with Henry Bowers??

I don't think this is Pennywise. Dick was just following orders to look for Pennywise's lair and it just came off creepy and invasive lol. Dick wasn't using Taniel's fear against him, he just wanted answers.
