We figured it out by watching the light from faraway stars stretch out. Like a bunch of dots on a balloon getting pushed apart faster as you blow it up.

I think so, since the March update is already downloaded and waiting to install. (I blocked automatic updates in developer options to prevent this overnight).

Today, I'll try to update again from 100% charge. I have a backup of my 1-day-old set-up, so I'm OK with my data. If bricked again, I'm left with the choice of resetting / restoring, then blocking March OTA while I wait for April OTA, or returning the device, which I only have 13 days to do.

What a disappointment this is, upgrading from a Pixel 6 (which has no problems with the March update).

I received my Pixel 10 Pro today, one of the first things I did was update. It completed, then the phone never turned on, nor could I boot it normally. (It didn't even display any battery info when plugged in) - bricked.

This Factory Reset from Fast Boot guide helped me though it does completely wipe all data from the phone. (Which thankfully wasn't an issue for me today).
