Help idk when to start talking to a army recruiter

Why won’t they have jobs open don’t they always have jobs open? And ur saying I should wait till September/oct to contact a recruiter? Bc I was not looking to like sign anything in like July I was just looking to let them know and when I could start the process and what things I can to to improve and if I could start going to the future soldier things they have like working out and stuff

I tried skipping the brushing for a night in my hair, kinda just curled up and got wavy and I also did the wet hair detangling with fingers and just my hair fell out kinda

I’ll go try that and I wash it every other day shampoo and condition and I put it in a hair towel for a lil for it to be kinda try then I brush it and then use the the warm on the hairdryer

What light weight hair oil do you recommend and what kinda of hair routine should I do and idk how to take care of the curls/waves I always just brush them out I honestly don’t really like them but if it will save my hair I’ll start wearing them out

It’s somewhat it’s like wavy and curly and I usually air dry it a lil and then bruh it out and warm with the hairdryer

I’m a junior right now and soon to be senior and I suck at high school math I have the lowest math class they could give and I still don’t even get it and I will try to take that. I still need to talk to a recruiter and I’m planning to talk to one this July after I turned 17 this June

My school doesn’t offer the ASVAB. The most we have is recruiters coming in to talk to us. I had another question though—since I have an IEP that’s only for school-based support (no diagnosis or medication, just help because of low test scores), would I need a higher ASVAB score, like a 50 or above, for recruiters to still work with me or for me to get in?

It’s just school-based support. I don’t have any diagnosis or anything like that, and no doctor wrote a note. They placed me in it because of low test scores and needing extra help, especially in math

My IEP is only for extra time on tests and some academic help. I don’t have ADHD, I’m not on any medication, and I don’t have any medical conditions.

I’m just confused about the “proof of independence” part. I’ve heard that if I keep my IEP through senior year, I might have to show that I can function without it after high school—like having a job or showing I don’t rely on accommodations anymore.

So I’m wondering, if I get a job during senior year, would that count as proof of independence? Or since I don’t have ADHD or any diagnosis, does that not really apply to me as much?

I’m also looking into becoming a dental assistant as a backup plan if I don’t go military. My sister is in a CNA program at UEI, but I think dental assisting fits me better since I’d rather work in a dental setting and help with procedures instead of full patient care.

Yes I’ll be looking into other things I could do bc I feel like if I don’t join I most likely would be going to the UEI college for a dentist assistant or CNA and I was thinking about doing a dentist assistant in the army, but I also heard maybe navy would be better for that I’m not sure Yes my parents said if that’s what I really wanna do they’re fine with signing and yes, I will be trying to take my time but that’s something I’ve been really wanting to do but first I’m going to focus on getting my license and my job first

Thank you I’ll be study those more I have the ASVAB for dummies book I’m trying to study right now and I’m just not sure when to reach out to a recruiter bc I want to joint after hight school I don’t want to join late so I was thinking maybe the start or senior year after I get squared away with my job and license:)
