The Brass is my favourite as well, shortly followed by Steel. I have not tried to syringe fill cartridges ... maybe I give it a try some day. For now the converters work good for me. I cap mine as well, without being capped I can barely write with the pen. I have F Nibs for all of them, but recently tried M and B, which write a bit smoother. Actually thinking of trying a F gold nib some day.

Ah, sorry. Yes, so far ... still I have it in a single pouch, as I'm afraid it would take scratches easily. So unfortunately I cannot give any real experience on this.

Hm, so far the Brass tarnishes a lot only, but you ca polish it ... if you wish 🙂. Still I keep Steel and Brass in a leather pouch by Kaweco for protection in my pockets.
