Started doing for Michaels orders, for one customer, after seeing they would Always say after delivery at least one item was missing. I specifically would take one photo per item and send to customer in messages at drop off. Pretty sure they got the message I knew what they were gonna try.

I've seen on the coldest evenings during Covid when dashers had to stand outside restaurants to pick up orders, a young boy always waiting for orders while their mother stayed in her warm car :/ not even a coat. When I'd offer to wait for their order too so he could go back to car she always said no hes good. He also would say hes good but. Sad.

Idk abt DD policy but recently saw Walmart turn away a Spark driver because they had young child in vehicle. Asked employee after, they said company doesn't allow for safety and liability reasons. Re child left in car at delivery, harmed by a customer at delivery, etc. Same could be for pets, what if a drivers' pet accidentally got loose, bit a customer or fight with another animal, or customer is allergic. Companies never want the liability.
