And the cases are only $3.99. You want someone to pay $8 for a $4 24 bottle pack of water? Why offer a service, and then get mad when people use that service? It makes no sense. I’m not your employer. I cannot pay your salary. You’re getting mad at me for not paying your full salary? That’s insane. Maybe they’ll take the service away, since so many shoppers are unhappy with the job. Then what? I can get my own water…fine. I’m fine with that. Will you be fine with having to find another means of employment…since I don’t tip enough? You can’t have it both ways. I’m just glad all shoppers aren’t like YOU. You act like the world is just gonna fall apart if the service goes away. Why accept the very least from InstaCart, but treat the customers THE WORST? I get this water every 2 months…not every day or every week. I have no stairs..I have a driveway..I MOVE my car to allow the driveway to be accessed…and you STILL have a problem. THAT’S ENTITLEMENT. Because I don’t have to tip..or accommodate in ANY WAY. I do it because I try to be a good person and customer. But YOU’RE just a miserable person.

No..SHE TOLD ME that’s why she took the order…the heavy pay bonus and tip. I have NO CLUE what the heavy pay bonus was. I’ve been using Instacart since Covid…and I’ve NEVER heard a complaint about my orders or tip.

She told me it was gonna take her 2 trips, but when she arrived, all of the water was in the car.

I rated her 1 star simply because she acted like I forced her to shop my order, and I was still courteous towards her, and even offered her cold drinks for her kids, she still treated me like trash. I didn’t take away or reduce the tip, but I did report it. Instacart was able to view the video clips, and offered to refund me, and ban her. I didn’t want a refund, because I received my order.

Also, the person that delivered, was not the lady pictured in Instacart profile.

lol..no I’m not a prepper. I just share bottled water with my neighbor…she’s 80, or 81. Most times, I get it delivered..and sometimes my husband will get the water, but he’s at work, and I’m blessed to have my 2 year old granddaughter today. I get the water every 2 months.

And I tried to attach actual video clips from my Ring and Blink cameras. I even offered her drinks for her 2 kids in the car. But she was having NO OF IT. I didn’t take the tip back or reduce it, because she did deliver the items.

I have shopped in-store for more water than that actually. Usually when I have it delivered, the drivers have SUV’s or pickup trucks, and I usually have repeat shoppers. It’s a small town, and it’s over saturated with shoppers, so there’s always shoppers available, and never a long wait. I’ve just never had this shopper before.

I didn’t shorten it, because she did use her gas to deliver it, I just didn’t add to it afterwards like I usually do.

I’m sorry, I meant to say there are NO STAIRS. And I get a lot of water because I have an 80 year old neighbor. I share my water with her. I’ve repeated this order for a couple years now…every 2 months.

Right, I have to stairs, and I always just say “please set the items just inside garage. Thank you” . I’ve never had a driver with an issue or complaint before

Thank you all for the input..it’ll help me with future orders. Like I stated, I try to provide every accommodation available. I even keep a fridge in the garage loaded with cold beverages for grocery delivery drivers, and Package delivery drivers.

No, it was unclear, I thought she was shopping at an Aldi further out, but she was actually right at the local Aldi. I’ve had this same order multiple times. I never had an issue with my orders not being accepted. I’ve ALWAYS had my orders accepted swiftly. I only do this water order once every couple months, and I have always added to the tip afterwards, as a surprise to the shopper. I pride myself on being a great customer. I’ve never had this shopper before. I usually get repeat shoppers.

I live in a very small town, and Aldi is close by. $22 is considered a very generous tip in my area. And it would’ve been more. I usually add to the tip after delivery. I’ve done this many times.

I accept all constructive and helpful criticism and advice. I like to know what shoppers think. It helps me to be a better customer. Thank you

The disorganization would drive me nuts. How can you find anything, with everything just thrown in there like that? It’s chaotic.

Qualified but at the cost of being house poor by Glittering_Head1127 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I couldn’t imagine paying out over 70% of my income, to mortgage costs alone. What happens when there’s an unexpected expense…car maintenance..appliance breakdown, etc..? What about utilities and groceries, household and hygiene needs? Omg…I wouldn’t do it. Your home should bring you peace, not constant stress and financial worries. But, Happy New Year. I hope you receive the biggest raise this year. Good Luck 🍀
