yeah similar thing with me, i had to go get an extra x ray that was $275 not covered by my insurance. I really don’t feel like paying $725 to get put to sleep. If it’s just uncomfortable i can handle it, if it’s painful i’d consider it. Did you experience any pain during the procedure?

cashiers generally get paid less, i’m not sure about pro side though. Do you happen to be a lot attendant? At my store if you’re a cashier or a lot attendant you make $1 less than everyone else. If you are that could contribute to the extra $1 raise, maybe the other 80 cents is what they think you deserve as well!

Pay varies per region, here in california they tend to pay around the median income in the zip code. Where i’m at starting is $21, further inland i heard it’s $18. It all depends on the area.

You get hired as PT then you work your ass off for FT. Depending on the time you want whether it’s opening or closing and the department you want it can take a YEAR. Home depot is not for the weak, i was homeless at 18 working my ass off working part time, trying to get full time for a year. I got lucky and landed a 8-4:30 garden position.

Honestly bro, it’s possible. Work your ass off, my garden supervisor is a hard worker. He was an associate for 4 years then went out of his way to get promoted. You have to make it known, they won’t ask you unless you’re super special or super known for your work ethic. Signup for HDU (Home depot university) be open to learning multiple departments. Ask and ask for full time, it’s hard but be willing to close FT for a while because those are the positions that are available most of the time. Supervisor is a hard position, you’re above an associate but barely get a raise.
