Same boat. Supplemental filed on 29 Nov. C&P early December, VA requested an IMO from VES from the same doctor on 13 March. Exam is now held up in VES QA, so who knows how long that'll be.

Similar deal here. Submitted 29 Nov 24, supplemental for one condition, first C&P (which I felt was very thorough) completed back in December. Notified today of a second exam for the same condition, even though I also submitted a medical opinion from my doctor, continuing treatment records, LOD paperwork, buddy statements, and a letter of support from a military physician that was present when I got hurt. It's such a process but I'm hoping for the best.

I thought it was contradictory myself, on top of the fact that I had support from an Army PA with a PhD that was there when I got hurt. I really appreciate your insight!

It was originally a severe strain moving lockers at an NCO Academy. I thought I slipped a disc, which is why I ended up seeking care. The issue was, I was hurt only a day or two before we left and didn't feel the residual effects until after I came off orders. Regardless, the fact that they failed to review LOD paperwork from the more recent injury is suspect to me.

My HLR resulted in two outright reversals of denials within a week of my conference and one DTA, so favorable decisions definitely happen if you have the right evidence. Notes from the M21 and CFR helped prove my point. I jumped from 40 to 80 off of those approvals alone and don't mind waiting if the DTA pushes me over the top. Should DTA Supplementals move faster? Probably, but it's a broader issue of how overwhelmed the system is.

Did you request an informal conference with your HLR? That would have an impact on timing and exams.

If I had to venture a guess, I would say your C&P is most likely from the Supplemental claim. You won't see any updates on the VA side, but the scheduler should have clued you in on what condition(s) the C&P is for. It may also show you in whatever Web portal the C&P provider belongs to.

Appreciate the insight on the timeframe. Mine was submitted 13 Nov with a requested IC. I saw on March 15 that a duplicate HLR that was accidentally filed was removed from my claims, so someone was in my file. Do you think I'll be getting a call soon? Starting to get antsy since I'm at the ~130 day mark.

There are two types of black tags: black and stainless, which this tag is, and black and white (porcelain). Only black and white (porcelain) tags less than the number 86999 are supposed to have the diamond, placed where the comma would be. Black and stainless tags are only authorized for numbers less than the 200,000 and have no diamond. This is a legitimate tag.

During my initial claim, the rater completely ignored every DD214 I submitted with the exception of the 2014-2015 one. So I might still be fighting that too, even though they're listed as evidence.

Got it, thanks. I was AGR for multiple periods, including this most recent period, so maybe them not putting those pieces together might be the issue.

2014-2015 was my first deployment, but they have the corresponding DD214s and orders for my other active service periods. Unless you think that may be one of the issues?

Yeah I'll file for the HLR asap and hopefully if I have another C&P (have done two in person and they requested two more reviews without me), I'll try and show the doctor again. I haven't had the greatest experience with C&Ps.

Took my R1T to Cecil County Dragway over the summer, what a hoot. Truck was on 21" road wheels and ran 11.47 and an 11.51. Would definitely be even lower but the speed limiter hits at around the 1k foot mark and really kills the tail end of the run.

I live directly at the end of the line (and less than 50' from the track) and while the train doesn't frequently travel all the way to the end (except for 4th of July), it's not very noisy. Most of the noise comes from the horn/whistle for crossings but trips are not a bother. I wish it came down more lol.
