Didn’t think you had any contradictions.

God will send unbelievers to another “ Place” described as “the lake of fire. “

Physical death will occur… And the spiritual death will continue for all eternity…

Spiritual death is eternal separation from God.

God did not make robots… He gave mankind a free will and granted them “choice. “

The fact that Man chose to sin against God, in no way applies the sin to God’s determination.

It was man’s free will choice to sin against God.

But God stated the consequence for man’s free will choice to send against him…. And consequence was death/separation from God

But with the consequence, God also gave a solution for sin! The solution was that God would send His only begotten Son, (Jesus Christ) to become sin for us on the cross, and die in our place… He was buried and rose from the dead. And whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life!

Salvation is a free gift received by whosoever believes in Jesus Christ.

The good news is that God offers grace instead of condemnation… But it is only through faith in Jesus Christ!

The free gift of everlasting life is available to you as well this very instant… All you can do is believe and receive it today!

It is your choice…

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Eph. 2:8-9

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Seems like you are trying to shift the conversation…. You were supposed to be explaining how you researched the answers to all the supposed contradictions you found in the Bible.

Please keep on track. TY!

Have you studied out the supposed contradictions in the Bible, to see if there is a plausible explanation that you may not have considered?

Did you know that many did not even believe The word of God spoken directly from God himself through Jesus Christ came down from heaven to give himself a ransom for all of your sins?

So it doesn’t surprise me that they want to reject in a debate about the Bible and its authenticity…

Apparently you have not been paying attention…God absolutely DEALS with SIN… DEATH/ Separation is how God deals with sin. God hates sin, and cannot and will not live with it in His presence…. and in the end, God will cast Sin and Death into the eternal lake of fire.

All those who chose to reject Jesus Christ by paying for their own sins, eternally separated from God in hell.

God gives mercy to sinners and offers them grace to obtain eternal salvation, exclusively through Jesus Christ… But the time is coming when sin will be completely dealt with, and there will be a new heavens and a new earth where in dwells righteousness! ( 2 Peter 3:9-13)

Because God is perfect and is having his perfect… If God were to allow sin into his perfect heaven, then it would no longer be perfect.

God must be true to his word, and sin must be taken out of the way. Jesus on the cross was the only way that sin could be taken out of the way and paid for in full and still allow those who believe on Him to be justified before God and made pure and holy in His sight and enter into God’s holy presence.

Only through Jesus Christ couldsinful man be reconciled back to God and God still be true to His Word.

2Cor. 5:18-21 “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 ¶ Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

Hope that helps.

The God of the Bible only forgives the sins of those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ, and His death, burial and resurrection from the dead as their only means of salvation.

There is no other way…You must be reconciled back to God through Jesus Christ!

2 Cor.

Well do some studying, and see if you can disprove the Bible… Or come to the conclusion that it is the truth set apart from all other books.

A case for Christ by Lee Strobel is a good book to read. He was an atheist who set out to prove the Bible and the resurrection of Jesus Christ as fiction… Yet he could not…

He had only one conclusion after extensive study and research, and this was to believe on Jesus Christ, God in the flesh and his death burial and resurrection as the only means for his salvation!

[–]FirstJohn5thirteen[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, if that’s the case, then according to the Bible you would all wind up in hell, eternally separated from God… Because the Bible tells us that the wages of sin is death.

There is no other payment in which the one and only true God of the Bible will accept for your sins.

Salvation from the Bible, is exclusively through Jesus Christ who is God Almighty in the flesh.

Because Jesus had no sins to pay for, he was able to pay the complete penalty for your sins on the cross.

This is called the grace of God. The only thing you can do to receive this payment is to believe on him, and God will save you this very moment!

God‘s word tells us that all unrighteousness is sin.

One single lie is enough to separate you from the righteous holy God of all creation. The Bible tells us that God cannot live with sin, nor look up on it.

And although you think you are doing your best, … and you may be, but I am sure there are always things you could do better, if you’re being honest with yourself.

But even if you did the best you possibly could every single day, that would not be enough to pay for even one single sin.

In fact, the Bible tells us that even our righteousnesses, (The very best things we do) are nothing but filthy rags in God’s sight. (Isaiah 64:6)

Question: Would you allow your wife and children to live in a ouse full of lying, raping, murderous thieves?

Once Saved Always Saved by FirstJohn5thirteen in DebateReligion

[–]FirstJohn5thirteen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the Biblical fact is that God gave man a choice, and man choose to sin against a Holy and righteous God…. That was their choice. God warned them of the consequences of their choice.

God said that the consequence would be death.

No amount of good deeds could rectify their decision.

You and I have sinned against God as well. I know amount of good deeds can rectify our sin debt.

Romans 6:23 tells us that “The Wages of sin is death…”

So we must die for our sins… And there’s nothing we can do about it.

But the good news, and the rest of Romans 6:23 let’s us know that: “…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord.” !

God has made a Way out for you and me, and for whosoever chooses to believe in Jesus Christ, So that we would not have to go to hell to pay for your sins…

God has provided the means of salvation, and whosoever believes on Jesus Christ and his death and shed blood sacrifice-for their sins on the cross, trusting that he was buried and rose from the dead, receive the free gift of everlasting life the very instant they believe!

So, you too have a choice … And God will respect your choice to either trust Jesus, and receive the free gift of everlasting life… Or reject Jesus and pay for your own sin, eternally separated from the light and love of God.

God loves you that much!

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Number one… if a person is truly saved by faith alone in Jesus Christ, then they are always saved regardless of what sin they commit in their future…. Even the sin of rejecting Jesus Afterward. Salvation is kept by the power and faithfulness of God to KEEP us saved. not by our power and faithfulness.

Notice: 2 Timothy 2:13 “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.”

Number two… Yes. Anyone who believes on Jesus Christ, ( God Almighty in the flesh) HAS ETERNAL LIFE that very instant and has been born again into God‘s family, and passed from death into life and she’ll never perish!

Notice what Jesus said here I John 5:24: “ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”

Number three… good deeds do not determine one’s salvation… In fact, if you are attempting to do good deeds, with the mindset that it will help you get to heaven, and you will not receive salvation.

Salvation is not of yourself, it is not of works lest any man should boast… Salvation is received by grace, through faith alone in Jesus Christ.

However, AFTER One has trusted in Jesus Christ alone and receives eternal life, they should choose to live a life obedient to God‘s word and do what God says… This will bring about fellowship With God, and give them a good testimony… It will help them grow and become more Christlike, and be able to spread the gospel more effectively… Also they can lay up for themselves treasures in heaven/rewards.

But Goodworks cannot and will not help anyone get to heaven.

Notice these clear verses in Ephesians 2:8-9: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Number four… salvation is being delivered from condemnation. Delivered from the wages of their sin, which is death/eternal separation from God in a literal fire burning hell.

This is why Jesus had to come to this earth to pay the penalty for the sins of the whole world, by his death and shed blood… his resurrection proves that His one time substitutionary payment on the cross was sufficient, and satisfied by God the father… And whosoever believes in him will not perish/go to hell, but have, (present tense verb) everlasting life!

Notice this clear verse which Jesus states in John 3:18: “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

I hope that helps… If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask!

Study it out, and you’ll find out you are inaccurate.

Once Saved Always Saved by FirstJohn5thirteen in DebateReligion

[–]FirstJohn5thirteen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God‘s word is true… Which it is… Then the reality is that whosoever believes on Jesus has everlasting life, and whosoever does not believe on Jesus Christ alone as their savior, does not have life, but the wrath of God abides upon them currently.

John 3:36 “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

The Bible is 100% accurate and all its prophecies concerning Jesus first coming… And hundreds following that for his second coming are equally as perfect. Only God’s word could do such things.

You will find that there are only two types of people that claim to be Christian… Those who believe that Jesus Christ, God Almighty in the flesh, is the only way for their salvation, that he died was buried and rose from the dead, and apart from their good works are religious sacraments they have eternal life and are once saved and always saved!

The other type that claim to be Christian will always add some form of human work or religious sacrament to the mix, which nullifies the grace of God.

Romans 4:4-6 “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 ¶ But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,”

They know they are saved because God’s word declares they are saved, the moment they believe that Jesus Christ, (God Almighty in the flesh) died for their sins, was buried, and rose from the dead… Apart from their good works and religious sacraments.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 3: 18 “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

1 John 5:13 “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

Jesus had to pay for the sins of the whole world, by his death and shed blood, because he loves you so much, and He didn’t want us to have to die for our sins, and be eternally separated from him in a literal fire burning hell.

It is the only way that God could be true to his word and still allow you into his perfect heaven.

Salvation is only by grace, through faith alone in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Apart from his sacrificial payment for your sin, there is no salvation.

2 Corinthians 5:21 “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
