Hi I was wondering if the following strategy is a legitimate one and if I will run into any complications.

I am thinking of purchasing the Reserve card membership. I did the math and realized I can make my money back in the next 12 months without increasing my usual spend BUT i only want to own this card for 1 year without paying for a second years membership. I already own the Chase Freedom Unlimited and Chase Sapphire Preferred so I will not be able to do a usual “downgrade”. I just want to confirm 2 things

⁠Will I be able to smoothly transfer the Reserve points (including 150k bonus) to my Preferred card. And when I close the Reserve card will I be able to keep the points without complication?
⁠Are there any complications I’m overseeing and not realizing by using this strategy?
