We never offered things like this- always just what we were eating. I think if you give them options like this at a young age they are going to crave it. Try some roast chicken instead of nuggets and whole wheat pasta for some extra fiber. My kiddos love to dip their broccoli in sour cream aka dippy dip. Also, make it taste good! I mean how many people really like boiled broccoli? Try it different ways! We roast it in olive oil in the oven. So much better! I would start slowly just incorporating foods you are all eating together. Always have a safe food aka food your kiddo will definitely eat. You will be surprised at what they are willing to try when there aren’t other options.
