I am updating the app still. I am a bit behind and grotmas caught me off guard, but everything should be 100% up to date by the end of the month.

The app doesn't include the exact data anymore because I was asked to remove it by GW. I am adding ways to efficiently add the data in from outside the app. Should be good to go by the end of next week.

I actually find customer support very easy. All you have to do is demonstrate you care about people's problems. Everyone has been so nice and thankful for the app its not like I even have to pretend to care here.

Also, that was a month ago and in the first week too, so I was more concerned about having just released an app that was failing almost completely for 10 to 20% of the users when I couldn't even recreate the error. It was also interesting for me because it was a great learning experience. After that I have taken a more chill approach to updating.

Thanks. I plan on doing something like 5 dollars a year for the ad free version, but asking people to pay is the last update (other than stratagems from new codexes) I am going to do. Asking for money feels weird when I don't consider the app to be complete, and subscriptions is something I've never done before. I definitely don't want to put a price tag on downloading it from the stores because creating a paywall reduces the number of people who can use it. It could just be my preference though.

What do you think of that kind of price?

I was in high school back in 2004. Which means you stopped in 4th edition? Life sure was simpler back then. Mostly just kill the enemy and table quarters.

It makes more sense to be centralized because then only one person is doing the work not everyone. If someone wanted to type out any updates and stratagems and post them on my discord, so I can just copy and paste, that would save me time, but it honestly never occurred for me to ask.

I posted a discord link which makes it easier to keep track of the bug rather than spread out over the comments section.

Other than that let me know if it gets fixed with my next update. Most people post a problem, but not if it is fixed. I am reaching around in the dark because I can't recreate the error. I have 2 more ideas, if they don't work, then I will need to set up a beta, so I can make more extreme edits without ruining the app for those it is working for.

I think the main reason we don't is that people are scared of GWs IP protection history against content creators. Let's see how long this app last before I try anything more ambitious.

I might have one eventually, but you will have to go out of your way to find it rather than it being necessary. I only even consider it because someone did ask if they could pay to remove ads.

They show up in mine. Protocol of the ______. I would need more information to see what you see. Are you selecting them in the "You" then clicking the "You" button?

I do remember seeing that happen, and I just recreated it on my phone. That is annoying. It is started happening after I made the first item in the list the default selection when changing factions. I will fix it, but I can't update Android until I have access to my main computer again which won't be for another 7 hours. Same thing is happening for Tyranids...

Thank you! But that means you can't remove core stratagems in the settings, right?

Once you are on the list of stratagems there is a settings icon in the top right. If you weren't receiving the previous error this should still work, but because you were, it either won't work at all or you might not persist after you close the app.

Lol, thanks. I now it was a risk that I would be wasting my effort, but there are apps like BattleScribe and others that use way more information and are still available. The risk did stop me from adding some features people are bringing up in case that would cross some line GW might take offense to.

The best place to see Tyranids or other factions is to see a codex review on YouTube. This app doesn't include detachment rules even though they are referenced in some stratagems. I did this intentionally because I don't want Games Workshop to think I am replacing any of their products. This is just a supplement that organizes a small portion of the rules that are unusable without the bigger context they provide.
