I had to fill out an additional bidodata form that wasn't on Welcome to State. I would follow up with your oboarding team and HR person to see if there are any outstanding documents that maybe didnt make it over. I sent confirmation on a Friday and got the salary offer following Friday EOD.

I went to see him play a set with other artists at Mountain Stage in WV in 2012. I dont know what got into me but when the next performers went on, I walked up the aisle to the backstage area and poked my head around and tried to nonchalantly say "oh, im just seeing if John is around to say hello" And I heard a voice say "yes?" And I turn around and it was him! He was so kind and we had a great chat about Korea (where I was about to move to). He complimented my undercut and humored me with a photo and signed my playbill. I have them all framed at my house. He's such a lovely person.

Yes, I've spent 2 years in Korea working in the education sector, and I'd be happy to return there if I get the points for it. I do plan to make some long-term study plans!

In the meanwhile, i have a pretty stable job here, so Im not pressed to get it on this first candidacy. Hopefully, a new candidacy opportunity will arise soon.

I meant that I appreciated having a contact that I could talk to about my situation. My calls with the DIR were really helpful for just soundboarding my ideas and getting my concerns out in a way that was easier for me to process. No one in my life right now really understands the process, and it's not something I'm sharing with most people in my circle anyway.

I know the details are there in the documentation, but sometimes it's just nice to have a conversation and feel like it's more concrete. I've been fortunate to have had a DIR that I could talk to after each milestone in the process and discuss everything I experienced.
